Linda Ann Sain Hawkins

Linda Ann Sain Hawkins, age 81, of Grier Street in Lincolnton, NC, passed away on Friday, December 08, 2023. Mrs. Hawkins was born July 04, 1942, in Scotland County, NC, daughter of the late Clyde Columbus and Eula Bess Sain.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by her son, Michael Hawkins of Lincolnton; daughter, Debbie Hawkins of Lincolnton; sisters, Brenda Heavner of Lincolnton, and Ethel “Butch” Warlick (Gene) of Vale; grandchildren, Brennon Hawkins, Sydni Hawkins, Grayson Hawkins, Cory Gates (Raven), and Aaron Gates (Macie); and great-grandchildren, Zoey Gates, Abigail Gates, Andy Gates, Benton Gates, and Sutton Gates.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hawkins was preceded in death by her husband, Larry David Hawkins; brothers, Norris Sain, Pete Sain, Clyde Sain, Jr., Jimmy Sain, and Carroll Claude Sain; and sisters, Bernice Callahan and Louise Peeler.
A funeral service for Mrs. Hawkins will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Sarah Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery of Lincolnton, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:15 p.m. Monday at Warlick Funeral Home prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
