Joann Helton Cook

Joann Helton Cook, age 79, of Keener Road in Lincolnton, NC, passed away on Thursday, November 02, 2023. Mrs. Cook was born October 22, 1944, in Lincoln County, daughter of the late Ben and Elvie Richards Helton.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her son, Robbie Cook of Lincolnton; daughter, Tammie Moore (Eddie) of Lincolnton; brothers, Eddie Helton of Gastonia, and Jimmy Helton of Tennessee; sisters, Dorothy Vernon of Gastonia, and Rosie Shores of Georgia; grandchildren, Brandon Moore (Bailey), Stephen Moore (Jasmine), Carla Colony (Erik), and Jimmy Sisk; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Earl Cook.
A graveside service for Mrs. Cook will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 07, 2023, in Forest Lawn Cemetery of Lincolnton, NC, with Pastor Charles Inman officiating.
