Jerry Franklin Ritchie

Jerry Franklin “Frank” Ritchie, age 88, of Lincolnton, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 30, 2023.
His funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Marvin United Methodist Church with Rev. Cindy Nanney and Rev. Mike Devine officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 11:45 a.m. on Saturday in the Fellowship Hall.
Frank was born April 19, 1935, in Lincoln County, to the late Ernest Franklin Ritchie and Lucille Heedick Ritchie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth Ritchie, Carroll Ritchie, and Harry Ritchie. He was a farmer and retired from Carolina Freight where he worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Barbara Reep Ritchie; son, Chris Ritchie (Angie) of Lincolnton; daughters, Robin Hartsoe (Jerry), and Vickie Gantt (Bob), all of Lincolnton; six grandchildren, Stacy Bivens (Chris), Anna Towery (Travis), Alisha Shires (Satcho), Hannah Saine (Taylor), Faith Ritchie, and Michael Ritchie (Emilee); great-grandchildren, Blakely Ritchie, Laken Ritchie, Madilyn Bivens, Chloe Bivens, Tristan Towery, Alexis Shires, and Channing Shires.
Memorials may be made to Marvin United Methodist Church, 2731 Startown Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
