Milton Lyndell Bowen, age 72, of Link Drive in Iron Station, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Mr. Bowen was born October 20, 1950, in Richmond County, NC, son of the late Charles Thurman and Ruth Sims Bowen.
Mr. Bowen is survived by his wife, JoAnn A. Bowen of the home; sons, Joseph Bryant Bowen (Ida) of Albemarle, NC, and Brett Gatlin Bowen (Yadira Lopez) of Lowell, NC; brothers, Wiley Bowen of Dunn, NC, Jim Bowen, and Lee Bowen of Matthews, NC; sister, Janice Mathers; grandchildren, April Mullis (Jon), Alex Bowen (Jodi), Garrett Bowen, Nathan Bowen, and Fatima Bowen.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowen was preceded in death by his sisters, Daisy, Judy, Nancy, and Irma.
A memorial service for Mr. Bowen will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain Joseph Thomas officiating.
