Debra Renice Murphy Blalock, age 71, of Branton Drive in Iron Station, died on Monday, October 9, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Fosdick officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
Debra was born September 26, 1952, in Cumberland County, to the late William Edward Murphy and Betty Fortenberry Murphy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Butch Blalock. She worked as a quality control technician for Timken. Debra loved her dog and her grandkids.
She is survived by her sons, Shannon Williams of Seattle, WA, and Josh Williams (Stephanie) of Lincolnton; stepsons, Jeremy Blalock of SC, and Justin Blalock of Maiden; two sisters, Patty Murphy of Stanley, and Linda Murphy of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren; and her furbaby, April.
