Brenda Kay Brown Goins, 82 of Maiden, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Carolina Caring in Newton.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2023, in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will speak with friends following the service.
She was born on October 31, 1941, to the late Connie Perkins Brown and William Cecil Brown in Lincoln County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Darrah McNeill.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Tony Goins of the home; daughters, Debra Buchanan (Jody) of Newton-Conover, and Lynn Rudisill Towery of Lincolnton; son, Todd Rudisill of Catawba; sister, Bettina Brown Gantt of Loris, SC; grandchildren, Matthew Buchanan, Marah Towery, and Jessee Towery; and great-grandchildren, Jasper Towery, Trystan McNeill, Trace McNeill, and Aurora Duncan.
