Betty was definitely a fighter, and OUR Hero!  A very strong, and WONDERFUL Mother, Nanny, sister, Daughter, Friend, and never met a stranger.  She is and will always be loved, and missed dearly!  Betty was one of a kind, and left some big shoes to fill.  She would tell us all to stop crying, go dancing, and remember the good times.  She loved her kids, grandkids, her family, the beach, music and dancing.  NOW SHE IS DANCING WITH ANGELS.

Survivors include two sons, Travis Scronce and Amy of Gastonia, Chris Scronce of Iron Station; one daughter, Donna Tharp and “Jig” Jonas of Lincolnton; three brothers, Jim Land, Bill Land both of Lincolnton and Roger Land of Dallas; two sisters, Glenda Robinson of Gastonia, Annette Hartman of Shelby; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Sydney, Arin, Carin (Austin), Kaden, Tiffany and Brooklyn; one great grandchild, Montay.
