Wanda Faye White Peeler

Wanda “Faye” White Peeler, age 87, of Highway 73 in Iron Station, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Dr. Hugh Whitfield officiating. The family will greet friends following the graveside service.
Mrs. Peeler was born May 3, 1936 in Lincoln County, to the late Jess and Rose Lee Pritchett White. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Peeler, Jr.; brothers, Jerry White and Kenneth White; and sisters, Bertie Rose Parker and Linda Martin. She was retired from Pilot Furniture.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Wade Peeler and wife Janet of Lincolnton, Barry Eugene Peeler and wife Karen; one daughter, Cathy Peeler Edwards and husband Jim of Lincolnton; one sister, Teresa Faulkner and husband Eddie of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren, Nocona Brittain, Cody Peeler, Justin Bisbee, Angela Hobson, Felicia Peeler, David Peeler and Nathan Peeler; and great grandchildren, Lynnlee, Sutton, Carter, Jayda, Laney, Kara, Grayson, Harmony and Abigail.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pearl Baptist Church, 4657 NC-27, Iron Station, NC 28080.
