Carolyn Jean Avery Beaver

Carolyn Jean Avery Beaver, age 77, of Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Messiah United Methodist Church with Pastor John Spencer and Pastor Jim Mathews officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Beaver was born November 23, 1945, in Lincoln County, to Mary Lee Byers Avery and the late Hubert Flay Avery. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alexis Beaver. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by her husband, Max Beaver of the home; three sons, David Beaver of Maiden, Tony Beaver of Maryland, and Gary Beaver and wife Stacey of Lincolnton; brothers, Charles Avery and wife Jane, and Bobby Avery and wife Kathy, both of Lincolnton; sister, Doris Avery of Lincolnton; mother, Mary Lee Avery of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, Dylan Beaver, Kyle Beaver, Lindsey Gaus, and Micah Beaver; and one great-grandchild, Aurora Beaver.
