Barbara Ann Armstrong Davis

Barbara Ann Armstrong Davis, loving wife and dedicated mom and Grammy, age 72, of 3247 Pine Tree Street in Lincolnton, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Unity Baptist Church, 3017 Old Highway 150 in Crouse, with Rev. Dr. Eddie Piercy and Rev. Nathan Grooms officiating. Burial will follow in the David Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. at the church.
Barbara was born April 8, 1951, in Lincoln County, to the late Robert Lee Armstrong and Jeanette Arzie McSwain Armstrong. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Timothy Lee Spencer. She worked for Sherman Textile Company for 35 years.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry Davis of the home; two daughters, Eron Davis Stowe (Damon) of Lincolnton, and Emily Davis Anthony of Denver; sisters, Linda Armstrong Spencer of Supply, Sheila Armstrong of Lincolnton, and Cynthia Armstrong Williams (Matt) of Lincolnton; and four grandchildren; McCoy Stowe, Tatum Stowe, Elle Anthony, and Smith Anthony.
Memorials may be made to Christian Ministry of Lincoln County, PO Box 423, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
