Roger Dale Brooks, age 67, of 331 S. Laurel Street in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, July 30, 2023.
Roger was born December 9, 1955, in Gaston County, to Betty Crotts Brooks and the late William Junior Brooks. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brothers, William Jewel Brooks, Sr. and Carrol Dean Brooks. He worked in textiles.
He is survived by his mother, Betty C. Brooks of the home; daughter, Lori Dale Brooks of Cherryville; two brothers, Ricky Lee Brooks of Crouse, and David Allen Brooks, Sr. and his wife Cynthia of Lincolnton; sister-in-law, Sue Brooks of Lincolnton; a number of loving nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Blazing Trail Cowboy Church with Rev. Harvey Gates officiating.
