Timmy Burgess

Timmy Burgess, age 61, of Reepsville Road in Lincolnton, died on Friday, July 28, 2023.
His funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Timmy was born November 22, 1961, in Cocke County, Tennessee, to the late James Lovell and Gertrude Burgess. He was a very hard worker and doting dad to his Yorkie, Tiny, and he was a great and dedicated papaw.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Smith Burgess of the home; sons, Shannon Burgess of Lincolnton, Timothy Hull and Kenneth Day, both of Vale; daughters, Kassie Stafford of Hickory, Brittany Duncan (Keyna) of Richmond, VA, and Sabrina Jones of Wilmington, NC; nine grandchildren, Makenzie, Makayla, Malorie, Jennifer, Baleigh, Phoebe, Johnny, TJ, and Paisley; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society, PO Box 23, Lincolnton, NC 28093-0023.
