Mary Elizabeth Hatcher Walker, age 79, of Lonesome Hollow Road in Hickory, died on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
Mary was born August 27, 1943, in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, to the late Grover and Laura Ann Stafford Hatcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan Crowe. She worked in food service.
She is survived by three daughters, Tammy Walker Shalp, Brenda Dickerson, and Vickie Crowe; son, Rick Crowe; brother, Jimmy Hatcher; nine grandchildren, Brent Walker, Jacob Shalp, Bobby Shalp, Stephanie Morris, Shanda Vaugh, Allen Dickerson, Henry Dickerson, Julie Ingle, and Tristan Crowe; and numerous great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.
