Louise Biggerstaff Lackey, age 86, of Cherryville, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
Mrs. Lackey was born December 22, 1936, in Lincoln County, to the late Joseph Lloyd Biggerstaff, Jr. and Carrie Ledford Biggerstaff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Harmon Lackey, Sr.; grandson, Jason Harmon Lowe; and son-in-law, David Hoke Propst.
She is survived by two sons, John Harmon Lackey, Jr. of the home, and Daniel Lackey of Lexington, SC; daughter, Debra Louise Lackey Propst (Kenneth) of Newton; sister, Betty Howell of Lincolnton; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held.
