Janet Lee Avery Reep

Janet Lee Avery Reep, age 68, of Cansler Road in Vale, NC, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023, at her residence. Mrs. Reep was born July 11, 1955, in Lincoln County, a daughter of the late Ray James and Joyce Roach Avery.
Mrs. Reep was an ICU Nurse for over 15 years, working lastly at Iredell Memorial Hospital of Statesville, NC. She was a passionate equestrian, and loved riding horses- especially her award winning Arabian horse. Mrs. Reep was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. Most of all, Mrs. Reep was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly, and will be missed by all who love her.
Mrs. Reep is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bryan W. Reep of the home; daughter, Amanda Waldrop and husband Michael, of Vale, NC; grandchildren, Jonathan Scott Saine and wife Heather, Genesis Waldrop, and Lilith Waldrop; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Ashlyn, and Rowan Saine.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reep was preceded in death by her daughter, Brandy Michelle Reep; and brother, Neil Avery.
A graveside service for Mrs. Reep will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Forest Lawn Cemetery of Lincolnton, NC, with Pastor Frank Johnson officiating.
