Shirley Gilbert Moore

Shirley Gilbert Moore, age 83, of Crescent Court, Lincolnton passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Her funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Covenant Church with Rev. Aaron Grooms officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.
Mrs. Moore was born on October 7, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Marshall Burke Gilbert and Estelle Mittie York Gilbert. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Lewis Moore. Mrs. Moore was retired from the After School Care program at Love Memorial School, but most remember her as a waitress at the Lincoln House Restaurant for many years.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Moore (Donna) of Lincolnton; her daughter, Crystal Moore Pardon (Ken) of Newton; four grandchildren, Kayleigh Ann Moore, Russell Alexander Moore, Keegan Pardon and Kylar Pardon; four great-grandchildren, Bentley Ryan Washam, Addie Washam, Gavin Pardon and Addison Pardon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Men's Challenge of the Smokies, 336 Living Hope Way, Franklin, NC 28734.
