Rita Paul Fourshee Spivey, age 74, of Marys Grove Road in Cherryville died on Thursday, June 8, 2023.
Rita was born August 23, 1948, in Cleveland County, to the late Doshie Buff Fourshee. In addition to her parent, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jack Spivey; their son, Shane Spivey; brother, Dwight Fourshee; and sisters, Betty Bowers and Judy Warlick.
She is survived by daughters, Rachel Fredell (Ricky) of Cherryville, and Wendella Southers (Michael) of Lincolnton; sister, Brenda Taylor of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, Maranda Rorie (Joseph), David Cahill (Kristin), Lee Broome (Heather), and Laney Topken (Erick); and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
