Timothy Dean Syck

Timothy Dean Syck, owner of Syck Boy’s Auto, in Iron Station, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the age of 59.

Timothy was born June 6, 1963, in Pike County, Kentucky, to the late Edgar William and Dorothy Hall Syck.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Gross.  

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Ann Brown Syck of the home; two sons, Timothy Blake Gross (Summer) of Dallas, and Justin Tyler Syck of Pikeville, KY; two daughters, Misty Nicole Haney of Pikeville, KY, and Tiffany Dawn Stratton (Jeremy); five grandchildren, Devin Lee Haney, Ethan Seth Haney, Jarrod Gage Haney, Mason Bennett Gross, and Jackson Blake Gross; one great-grandchild, Gunnar Haney; brother, John Paul Syck; sister, Georgia Syck; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 06, 2023, at Syck Boy’s Auto, 5021 Highway 73, Iron Station, NC.  The family requests that those attending drive their old/classic car, something Tim loved.
