Gloria Hallman Lawing

Gloria Hallman Lawing, age 91, of East Highway 150 in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, March 23, 2023.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Lincolnton with Rev. Dr. Stanley Spence, Rev. Dr. Dixon Free, and Rev. Phillip Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:45 until 3:45 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
Gloria was born February 13, 1932, in Lincoln County, to the late Winslow and Lula Elizabeth Nance Hallman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lloyd Lawing, and brother, Robert Hallman.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandy Lawing Roseman (Joe), and Lynn Lawing Black (David); three grandchildren, Brooke Roseman Sanderson (Micah), Krystal Black Flannigan (Justin), and Jessica Black Campos; and four great-grandchildren, Molly Elizabeth Black, Sloane Harper Sanderson, Knox Micah Sanderson, and Sofia Maria Campos.
