Eugene Green

Eugene Green, age 86, of Highway 27 East in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023, in McDowell Memorial Park in Marion, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Green was born August 14, 1936, in Haywood County, to the late William Clifford Green and Mary Agnes Franklin Green. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dollie Hyatt Green; and siblings, Bill, J.T., Pete, and Jane. He retired after 40 years at BV Hedrick.
He is survived by two sons, David Hyatt (Robin) of Swannanoa, NC, and Keith Black (Janet) of Asheville, NC; daughter, Eugenia White of Lincolnton; brother, John M. Green of Waynesville, four sisters, Betty Ann Nantz of Lincolnton; Frances Hyde of Waynesville, Sue Ellen Green of North Carolina, and Nancy Brockman of Illinois; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
