Michael Alan Mitchem

Michael Alan Mitchem, age 73, of Country Acres Lane in Maiden, died on Friday, March 3, 2023.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Warlick Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Bandy officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Warlick Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the home of Sherry Hallman, 550 Springs East Road in Lincolnton.
Michael was born July 18, 1949, in Lincoln County, to the late Charles and Cora Lou Moore Mitchem. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tony and Gary Mitchem. He retired from the City of Lincolnton.
He is survived by a son, Michael Mitchem, Jr.; two brothers, Randy Mitchem (Carol) of Georgia, and Tracy Mitchem (Cathy) of Florida; four sisters, Ginger Townsend of the home, Sherry Hallman, Sandra Rudisill (Jerry), and JoAnn Huss (James), all of Lincolnton.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
