William Harry Page, 77, of Prince George Road in Charlotte, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Lincolnton with Rev. Elizabeth Tester and Rev. Mr. Page was born January 27, 1946, in Lincoln County, to the late George Calvin Page, Sr. and Vassey Berry Page.  Everyone remembers him as a talented football player who played in the Shrine Bowl.  He then went on to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a navigator for radar and reconnaissance equipment on the Mohawk airplane.  He would later own/operate Page Sales, Inc. and Sun Stone Marble and Granite, Inc.  Always in search of excitement, he owned and drove a racecar in the Sportsman division of NASCAR.  He loved the outdoors and spending time at Lake Norman with his family.  He was a beloved “Poppy” to all of his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Paula Reynolds Page of the home; daughters Natalie Page Inman (Chris) of Charlotte, Amanda Page Abbey (Bill) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Leah Carson Page (Joseph) of Murrells Inlet, SC; son, Clinton Harry Page of Charlotte; grandchildren, Mallory Abbey, Samuel Abbey, Anna Page Stephens, Luke Abbey, and Reynolds Page; brothers, George C. Page, Jr., and James E. Page (Beverly); sister, Jane E. Page; eleven nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Deborah Garner.
