Nancy Joan “Joann” Spencer age 82, of Sweet Pea Lane, Lincolnton passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Painter officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
Ms. Spencer was born on May 7, 1940 and was the daughter of the late James Ray Sherrill, Sr. and Eva Mae Brown Sherrill. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, James Sherrill, Jr., Betty Jean Thompson, Brenda K. Goodman and Roxanne Sherrill.
She is survived by her two sisters, Delores Sherrill Poole of Lincolnton and Caroleen Sherrill Barnette of Texas; her brother Charles Sherrill of Pumpkin Center and a number of nieces and nephews.
