Lois Craig Watson
( November 28, 1926 - December 28, 2022 )
Lois Craig Watson passed away on December 28th. She was born on 11/28/1926 in Joplin, MO. But even at 96 years, it was too early.

Her first love was her family. Lois’ husband of 66 years, Hubert (Jim), her siblings Maxine, Ed, and Neal, and her son Rick preceded her in death. Lois was very proud of “her four boys”. She is survived by her sons, Jim and wife Pat, Jack and wife Sandra, and Fred and wife Lea, as well as six grandchildren, Josh, Kevin, Matthew, Jeff, Natalie, and Nick, and eight great-grandchildren Jacob, Wyatt, Lyla, Sawyer, Katelynn, Elysa, Bailey, and Olivia.

Lois loved cooking for and entertaining an overflow houseful of family and friends - for any occasion – the more the merrier!  She cherished the decades-long friendships that she and her husband, Jim shared with the Byrums and Davenports, and especially their travel exploits. Lois and Jim loved their dogs, Sugar and Sugar II, as well as sports, especially the Wolfpack, Braves, and Panthers.  She loved playing bridge, gardening, travel, and so much more. She had an inquisitive and sharp mind. Lois was a loving and lovely person, as well as a tough bird. She will be missed!

The funeral will be at Unity Presbyterian Church in Denver at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 4th. A viewing will be from 10:00 to 10:45 that morning. The family will receive guests after the service, with lunch provided.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Unity Presbyterian Church, Denver.
