Allen Michael Jones

Allen Michael Jones, age 76, of Gaston Webbs Chapel Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, December 29, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 2, 2023, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones was born June 21, 1946, in Polk County, to the late Thomas Earl Jones and Mary Suzanne Goforth Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by brothers Tommy Jones and George Jones. He worked as an engineer for Purolator. Allen loved to travel, loved Las Vegas and the beach, was big into adventure, and could build anything.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanie Rollins Jones of the home; son, Dean Huffstetler (April) of Lincolnton; daughter, Carrie Dobbins (Greg) of Lincolnton; granddaughters, Morgan Leonard (Cole) of Lincolnton, and Allie Dobbins of FL; and a sister, Peggy Johnson (Roy Lee) of East Flat Rock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
