James David Seagle, age 86, of Little Street in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
James was born May 16, 1936, in Lincoln County, to the late Thomas Clyde Seagle and Nettie Prue Lutz Seagle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alexandra Karnovoloff. He served in the United States Navy, and retired from Carolina Freight Carriers after 39 years of service.
He is survived by his children, Valerie Seagle, Jaime Bissette (Starling) of Raleigh, Jeffrey James Seagle (Natalie) of Vale, David James Seagle of Lincolnton, and Kevin James Seagle of Vale; grandchildren, Jeremiah Lee Jones (Amber), Mary Nicolette Hodges (CJ), Jordan James Seagle (Danielle), Samantha Anne Seagle, Jeffrey James Seagle, Jr. (Dakota), Justin Dale Seagle, Seth Seagle, Corry Seagle, Dallas Seagle, Mackenzie Blaire-Bissette, and Kevin Lee Schrum; and two great-grandchildren, Harper Alexandra Hodges and Jeffrey James Seagle, III.
Services will be private.
