Louella Lingerfelt Craig

Louella Lingerfelt Craig, age 80, of Palm Tree Church Road in Vale, died on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
Her funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Jaie Warlick and Rev. David Workman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 11:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
Mrs. Craig was born June 21, 1942, in Catawba County, to the late Grady and Lorene Kiser Lingerfelt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six brothers, one sister, and one grandson, Grant A. Pitman. She was retired from Catawba County School System where she worked as a cafeteria manager.
She is survived by her two daughters, Wanda Craig of Vale, Teresa Pitman and husband Fred of Vale; one brother, J.D. Lingerfelt and wife Joyce of Vale; two grandchildren, Mason A. Pitman and Magnum B. Pitman of Vale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
