Mamie Jane Short Mosteller

Mamie Jane Short Mosteller, age 90, of Lincolnton, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Ms. Mosteller was born February 26, 1932, in Cleveland County, a daughter of the late Roland Short and Bessie Tramell Short.
Ms. Mosteller is survived by her son, Timmy Mosteller (Christine) of Lincolnton; daughter, Kay Withers of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Erica Withers, Dale Withers, Brandon Mosteller, and Tiffany Harkey; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances Neal, Ruth Pruitt, and Shirley Pruitt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Mosteller was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland James Mosteller; daughter, Jane Mosteller; and six siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Long Shoals Baptist Church, Lincolnton, NC, with Pastor Wesley Ingle officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral service at the church.
