Bernice Cash Whitesides
( August 12, 1942 - October 19, 2022 )
Bernice Cash Whitesides, age 80, of E. Highway 150 in Lincolnton, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in the Gloryland Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Taylor officiating.
Mrs. Whitesides was born August 12, 1942, in Lincoln County, to the late Clyde and Winnie Crouse Cash. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Major Thomas Whitesides; two daughters, Kim and Angela Whitesides; and her siblings, L.C. Cash, Everette Cash, and Marcene Stone. Bernice was a faithful member of New Grace Baptist Church where she played the piano and taught Sunday School. She loved God and was a prayer warrior for her family and friends. She loved gardening, flowers, and cooking!
She is survived by a son, Anthony Whitesides; and multiple nieces and nephews.
