Mackenzie Rose Olson, age 32, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022.
Her funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church with Father David Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 8:30 until 9:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mackenzie was born May 21, 1990, in Mecklenburg County to Vaughn Thomas Olson and Rosemarie Rosolia Olson. Mackenzie had a passion for serving those in need, especially the elderly. As a young teenager, she worked at The Little Flower Assisted Living in Charlotte where she cared for her patients with so much love.
She is survived by her children, Ayden Merideth, Dakota Merideth, and Kaelynn Merideth, all of New Orleans, LA; father, Vaughn Olson (Elvira) of Charlotte; mother, Roe Olson of Lincolnton; sister, Lara Creek (Ben) of Vale; and step-sister, Lenara Nasyrova of Charlotte.
