Arbedella Shuford Rhodes, age 85, of Hudson White Trail in Lincolnton, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Coral Park Baptist Church with Pastor Jeffrey Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2022, at Coral Park Baptist Church.
Mrs. Rhodes was born October 20, 1936, in Lincoln County, to the late Robert and Lillie Benton Shuford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lee Rhodes; son, Gary Rhodes; daughter, Teresa Painter; grandson, Phillip Rhodes; two sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald Rhodes (Cynthia), Jeffrey Rhodes (Sherry), Mike Rhodes, and Sammy Rhodes (Fay), all of Lincolnton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special niece, Clair Caskey; and special friend of the family, Wayne Johnson.
