Gregory Windel Gilbert

Gregory Windel Gilbert, age 62, of West Highway 27 in Lincolnton, died on Friday, August 19, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Rhyne Heights United Methodist Church with Rev. Gene Bragg officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. Inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Gilbert was born August 25, 1959 in Gaston County to the late Robert Jacob and Carolyn Elizabeth Byers Gilbert. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robbie Carol Gilbert. Mr. Gilbert was the owner of Gilbert Cutlery.
He is survived by his maternal aunt, Phyllis Byers Hovis and husband Ray of Chaplin, SC; his paternal uncle, Jerry Paul Gilbert, Sr. and wife Geraldine of Lincoln County; and a number of cousins.
