Bruce Franklin Ward

Bruce Franklin Ward, age 78, of Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
Bruce was born December 11, 1943, in Gaston County, to the late Robert H. Ward and Monnie Queen Ward. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Faye Ward, Dennis Buck Ward, Keith Ward, Robert Ward, Charles “Big Boy” Ward, and Rodney Ward; and three sisters, Marilyn Gray, Dorothy Hart, and Mary Hart. He worked as a welder fabricator for Gaston County Dye and Machine for 30 years. Bruce enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters and their activities. He also enjoyed fishing, farming, and his favorite activity was keeping the roads hot!!!
He is survived by two daughters, Anita Wood (Roger) of Lincolnton, and Vanessa Fox (Les) of Granite Falls; sister, Charlene Efird; two granddaughters, Zoey Fox and Zaley Fox (Davidson Allen); his granddog, Jasper; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Ward will be private.
