Marta Jo Green Deon

Marta Jo Green Deon, age 63, of Hoffman Road, Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Baldwin officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Friday prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Deon was born on June 13, 1959, the daughter of the late Robert Harold Green and Edna Ann Gleason Green. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, “Pawpaw Danny,” and her grandchild, Autumn Grace. Mrs. Deon worked as a hairdresser.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, George Phillip Deon, Jr.; four sons, Walter (April), Richard (Shirley), Joshua (Ashley), and George (Kayla); three daughters, Carrie (Billy), Bobbie Jo (Chase), and Lacie; eighteen grandchildren, Alex, Amber, Kennedy, Katie, Devon, Jayden, Isaiah, Brantley, Everleigh, McKenzie, Riley, Kodye, Sophie, Phillip, Aubrey, Dalton, Palmer and Olivia; two great-grandchildren, Harper and Lilly; one brother, Robert Green; and numerous nieces and nephews.
