William "Bill" Horace Crouse, Jr.

William “Bill” Horace Crouse, Jr., age 74, of Henry Rhodes Road in Lincolnton, died on Friday, July 22, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Hager officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
“Bill” was born November 12, 1947, in Lincoln County, to the late William Horace Crouse, Sr. and Pauline Wallace Crouse. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Kale Crouse. He worked as a deputy for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department 30-35 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Carla Long of West Virginia; brother, Mackie Crouse of Denver; sisters, Yvonne Crouse of Denver, Frances Ingle of Lincolnton, and Anne Reinhardt of Bessemer City; granddaughters, Halie Cantrell and Jessica Long; great-grandson, Colt Cantrell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center, 1410 E. Gaston Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
