James Steve Sigmon

Rev. James Steve Sigmon, age 83, of Lawing Street, Lincolnton passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
His funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Service to be conducted by Rev. Rick Ragan. Burial will be private.
Rev. Sigmon was born on February 2, 1939 to the late James Blaine and Martha Knight Sigmon. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Dula Sigmon and his siblings, Wyle Sigmon, Fred Sigmon, Betsy Morrison and Frances Lingerfelt. Rev. Sigmon was the former pastor of Liberty Baptist Church in Lincolnton and also worked for Stroupe’s Jewelers in Lincolnton.
He is survived by his stepson, Kyle Smith of Newport News, VA; and stepdaughter, Teresa Zuraw.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
