John Aydyn Burnett, age 11, of 112 North High Street in High Shoals, died on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Goudelock officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Aydyn was born January 18, 2011, in Gaston County, to Kristina Michelle Turner. He enjoyed bluegrass music, westerns, and musical cartoons.
He is survived by his adopted mother, Cynthia Cartrette of High Shoals; grandmother, Vicki Turner of Iron Station; uncle, Donnie Turner (Chelsea) of Vale; cousins, Bayleigh and MacKenzie Turner; and great-grandparents, Doris Turner of Kannapolis and Gloria Cadle of Lincolnton;
