Rickey Eugene Greer

Rickey Eugene Greer, age 65, of 837 Highway 274 in Cherryville, died on Sunday, April 10, 2022.
His funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
Rickey was born January 3, 1957, in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, to the late Otis Dexter Greer and Shelva Blackwell Elmore. He served in the United States Marines and Air Force. Rickey worked as a carpenter in furniture manufacturing.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Alexander Greer of the home; sons, Marshall Eugene Greer and Jason Patrick Greer, both of Belwood; daughter, April Hope Cloninger of Catawba; sisters, Rita Greer of Chesnee, SC, and Renee Keener of Maiden; and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Carolina Caring, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
