Jo Ann Cunningham Schronce

Jo Ann Cunningham Schronce, age 85, of Leaf Lane in Lincolnton, died on Monday, April 4, 2022.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, at River View Baptist Church with Rev. Ashley Crouse, Rev. Barry Brookshire, Rev. Rick Brown, and Dr. Rick Crouse officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Jo Ann was born November 6, 1936, in Lincoln County, to the late Arvil Noah Cunningham and Edna Inez Davis Cunningham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Alfred Schronce; brother, Jack Arvil Cunningham; and sister, Peggy Sue Cunningham Hurtgen. She worked in banking.
She is survived by sisters, Faye Heavner of Lincolnton and Sandy Crouse (Rick) of Granite Falls; two God children, Kelley Cranford of Hendersonville and Sonia Baker of Cherryville; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Schronce of VA; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Robin Johnson Hospice House, c/o Gaston Hospice, 258 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054, or River View Baptist Church, 2230 Riverview Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
