Medora Ardecia McJunkins Knight

Medora Ardecia McJunkins Knight, age 89, of Seminole Trail Road in Maiden, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022, in the Broad River Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chris Randall officiating.
Mrs. Knight was born July 5, 1932, in Rosman, North Carolina, to the late Will McJunkins and Maude Aelenia Galloway McJunkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Davis Knight; daughters, Nancy Hester and Medora Knight; sons, James Knight and George Knight; grandson, Johnny Towery; and brothers, Walter McJunkins and John McJunkins. She retired from Delta Apparel.
She is survived by a son, David Knight (Becky) of Lincolnton; daughter, Teresa Towery of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Alan Bourquardez, Jimmy Knight, Sharon Roberts, Sylvia Rhodes, Lisa Daniel, Kelly Knight, William Knight, Darrell Hester, Christina Knight, and Christopher Knight; thirty-six great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great-grandchildren; brother, Charles McJunkins; and sister, Bernice Nix.
