Pastor Glenn Hughie Monday, age 87, of 804 Driftwood Road, Lincolnton passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Highland Drive Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Luke Johnson officiating.
Pastor Monday was born on May 16, 1934 and was the son of the late Fine and Sidna Partin Monday. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Sue Drummonds Monday and his daughter, Renee Whisnant. He served as a Baptist minister.
Pastor Monday is survived by his wife, Margaret R. Monday of the home; two sons, James Monday and wife, Elizabeth of Illinois and Kevin Monday and wife, Cynthia of Lincolnton; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
