Nettie Merritt Lambert

Nettie Merritt Lambert, age 84, of Bailey Springs Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, February 24, 2022.
Nettie was born August 18, 1937, in Gainesville, Florida, to the late Robert Merritt and Ida Mae Pinner Merritt Stebbins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by two brothers, Michael Merritt and James Merritt. Nettie worked as an accountant.
She is survived by a daughter, Laurel Helms (Jesse) of Lincolnton; brother, Robert Merritt, Jr. of Florida; sister, Georgia Ann Boykin of Florida; three grandchildren, Kelly McLain of West Jefferson, NC, and T.J. McLain and James McLain, both of Lincolnton; one great-child, Boone Shain; and step-grandchildren, Bree Shain (Ian) of Lincolnton, and Noah Helms of Charleston, SC.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
