Guy Edward Beam

Guy Edward Beam, age 84, formerly of Shady Lane in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
His funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Iron Station Missionary Church, 2583 Will Schronce Road in Iron Station, with Rev. Chris Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Beam was born October 27, 1937, in Lincoln County, to the late Jennings Kern Beam and Zelma Coffey Beam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Hyacinth Propst Beam. Guy served in the National Guard and would later work in the parts department for Carolina Freight Carriers.
He is survived by three sisters, Clara Gibson of Charlotte, Sandy B. Dahlhofer (Gary) of Florida, and Dorothy B. Morse (Calvin) of Florida; brother, Carroll “Jack” Beam (Nora) of Iron Station; nephew Derek Beam and niece Tamara Lancaster.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
