David Ray Baker

David Ray Baker, age 53, of 600 Ross Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dean Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
David was born May 28, 1968, in Lincoln County, to Maria Waddell Baker and the late Johnny Robert Baker, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded by a son, Michael Warren Costner. David was a mechanic at Pon and Rounds II for sixteen years.
He is survived by his wife, Gayla Fortenberry Baker of the home; daughters, Melissa Hope Costner and Tonya Renee Hester (Chad); mother, Maria Baker; brother, Johnny Baker, Jr.; sister, Krissa Baker; and five grandchildren, Hayleigh, Devan, Ethan, Darryn, and Amber.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
