Franklin Delano Runyon, Jr.

Franklin “Jr” Delano Runyon, Jr., age 68, of 2531 Swanson Road in Crouse, died on Monday, February 7, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Community Baptist Church in Dallas, with Rev. Greg Hager officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
“Jr” was born May 17, 1953, in Mann, West Virginia, to the late Franklin Delano Runyon, Sr. and Elaine Lester Runyon. He worked as a machine operator.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce McClure Runyon of the home; sons, Frank Runyon (Lynnette) of Crouse, Ricky Runyon (Stephanie) of Lincolnton, and Kevin Runyon of Crouse; daughter, Lisa R. Lassiter (Joe) of Belmont; thirteen grandchildren, Mac, Justin, Haley, Destiny, Gavin, Jaymee, Andrea, Savannah, Kevin, Matthew, Brandon, Luke and Drew; six great-grandchildren, Henry, Devon, Reaghan, Jaxson, Witten, and Braxston; and a number of nieces and nephews.
