Elaine Victoria Yonker Wismar

Elaine Victoria Yonker Wismar, age 85, of 2411 Myra Lane in Lincolnton, died on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Atrium Health Lincoln.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Rev. Chad Walker officiating. Masks will be required. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Wismar was born August 9, 1936, in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania, to the late John and Alida Allison Yonker. She lived in Johnsonburg and Kane, PA, for much of her life before moving to Lincolnton. Family was always at the center of her life. Elaine was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked for J.P. Stevens for several years.
Survivors include two sons, Brian Wismar, and wife Kathryn, of Oconomowoc, WI, and Gary Wismar of Lincolnton; and one granddaughter, Kaila Wismar of Oconomowoc. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl; her parents; and all of her brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, or to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2639 E. Highway 150, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
