Martha Ellen Nantz Carpenter, age 70, of Hill Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Devine officiating.
Mrs. Carpenter was born August 29, 1951, in Lincoln County, to the late Grady and Annie Mae Bynum Nantz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Nantz. She worked as a waitress.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Carpenter of the home; son, Christopher Byers of Lincolnton; and grandson, Clint Campbell of Tennessee.
