Katherine Dellinger Beal
( September 22, 1940 - January 21, 2022 )
Katherine Dellinger Beal, age 81, of Ivey Church Road in Lincolnton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 21, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Redeemed Baptist Church with Rev. Alan Wheeler officiating.
Mrs. Beal was born on September 22, 1940 in Lincoln County to the late Arvil Pinkney and Mattie Ann Smith Dellinger. She was a homemaker
Katherine was a proud mamaw to all of her grandsons and great-grandson. She enjoyed serving the Lord along with her husband, singing in the local nursing home for many years. She made the yummiest deserts and her sense of humor was incomparable.
Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Donald Lee Beal of the home; two sons, Greg Beal and wife Stephanie of Lincolnton, Rex Beal and wife Christine of Newton; two sisters, Gail Wilson of Lincolnton, Margaret Dellinger of Biscoe, NC ; one brother, Dwight Dellinger and wife Judy of Maiden; seven grandchildren, Gaige Beal and wife Hannah, Garett Payne, Kole Beal, Bryson Payne, Mason Beal, Finn Beal, Hudson Beal and great-grandson Kyler Beal and one great granddaughter on the way.
