Viola Katrina Hardee

Viola Katrina Hardee, age 78, of 5368 Walter Estate Lane in Iron Station, went to her Heavenly home on Friday, January 21, 2022.
Viola was born March 6, 1943, in Crescent City, Florida, to the late Jonah Dillon Hardee and Mary Elizabeth Williams Hardee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Anne Louise, Virginia Lois, and Hilda Ellen; her brothers, James Dudley and Walter Wendell; daughters, Cynthia Christine Hoag and Tina Marie Poovey; and grandson, Steven Tyler James. She enjoyed reading and crocheting and loved fishing and gem mining.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Millard James (Patricia), and David Lee James (Theresa) of Rochester, IN; and sisters, Priscilla Irene and Sharon Elizabeth. She has fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
