Paul Luther Garrison
( May 13, 1930 - December 27, 2021 )
Paul Luther Garrison, age 91, of Devine Road in Iron Station, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, December 27, 2021.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Amity Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Ridgeway and Rev. Larry Little officiating. His body will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Warlick Funeral Home. The family will not be present.
Mr. Garrison was born on May 13, 1930 in Lincoln County to the late William McKinnley and Etta Jane Ballard Garrison. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, William Monroe (W.M.), Ed Harvey (Bob), and Roy Edward Garrison, and by his longtime companion, Martha. He was retired from textiles.
Paul was a humble and devout servant of Christ and a faithful member of Amity Baptist Church.
Those left to treasure his memory are his five nieces, Debra Barnette of Denver, Cindy Martin and husband Donnie of Maiden, Chandra Todd and husband Jack of Claremont, Melony McGinley and husband Chuck of Denver, Teresa Porter of Winston-Salem; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amity Baptist Church, 881 Amity Church Rd, Denver, NC 28037.
